Sensory Quilt Donations

Thanks to the generosity of a wonderful group of women (and school staff) these sensory quilts have been donated to the Special Needs Students throughout WCSD.

About 250 sensory quilts have been made and donated. Each quilt takes anywhere from 3 hours for the small one to 10 hours for a large one. Both have many items to fidget with and textures, weighted feel, colors, zippers, buttons, snaps, and so many other creative things! These quilts remain at the school and are cared for and laundered by the staff for use each day. Approximately 250-300 students so far have benefitted from these quilts. We are so appreciative to those who have donated these to the Special Needs Students of WCSD!
