We are pleased to announce the selection of Warren Brooks as the new Principal of Dixie High School.  Warren is the current Principal of Snow Canyon High School and will transfer to Dixie High School when Sharla Campbell retires on July 1, 2020.

Warren moved to St. George from Blanding, Utah 42 years ago on July 4th when he was a sophomore in high school.  He attended and graduated from Dixie High School when it was the only high school in town.  He received his Associates of Science Degree at Dixie College, his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Math Education at SUU, his Administrative Endorsement from USU.  He began his teaching career at Dixie High School where he taught Math and coached football, track, and soccer for four years.  When Snow Canyon High School opened 26 years ago, he was part of the new staff where he taught math, coached football and soccer, and later became the Vice Principal and then the Principal for last 15 years.

He and his wife, Benita, have five children and 7 grandchildren.  His wife also graduated from Dixie High School and she loves attending all the school events with him.  Warren can often be heard saying, “I love my job!” He will miss Snow Canyon High School and his Warrior Family. When not at school, he loves being with his family and spending time in Pine Valley.

Please join us in welcoming Warren to his new assignment!
